ASSEMBLY & DISASSEMBLY AT YOUR PLANT

Hydro Pumps performs industrial pump disassembly and assembly directly at your plant — from planned rigging to laser-aligned reassembly. Specialized in vertical turbine pumps with segmented columns up to 30 meters and multi-stage assemblies.

Service Scope

The four stages of on-site service

A documented method that ensures the pump runs as designed — no surprises at startup.

01

Planning and rigging

Rigging study, definition of lifting equipment and disassembly sequence — safety and equipment integrity first.

02

Documented disassembly

Every component identified, measured and photographed. The incoming condition becomes the baseline for the report and the reassembly.

03

Logistics and reconditioning

Critical components go for machining, coating and balancing at our workshop — with tracked transport both ways.

04

Reassembly and laser alignment

Staged, torqued assembly, laser alignment of the set and startup monitoring with vibration checks.

05

Vertical and multi-stage pumps

Segmented columns up to 30 m, modular bowl assemblies and lineshafts — the configurations that demand method the most.

06

Assisted commissioning

Startup monitored by the same crew that assembled: vibration, bearing temperature and tightness verified in operation.

Technical Details

Why method beats haste

The hidden risk of incorrect assembly

Most premature post-maintenance failures do not come from the repair — they come from the assembly: uneven torque that warps casings, residual misalignment that loads bearings, lost concentricity in vertical columns. These errors are invisible at delivery and expensive in operation.

That is why Hydro Pumps' method is documentary: every disassembly step becomes a record, and reassembly follows the reverse sequence with specified torques and verified laser alignment. Startup is monitored — the service only closes with the equipment stable.

When to contract on-site service

Scheduled maintenance shutdowns, replacement or reconditioning of large pumps, equipment relocation, and installation of new or reconditioned pumps — situations where rigging, dimensional precision and schedule are critical.

The service integrates with reconditioning: we disassemble, recover the components at our workshop and reassemble, under a single contract with a single technical responsible.

Frequently Asked Questions

On-site assembly questions

What shutdown and project teams ask before contracting.

Yes — planning is done together with your shutdown team: sequence, lifting resources, shifts and milestones are defined before mobilization, and component reconditioning runs in parallel at our workshop to fit the window.

Defined at planning: we can operate with the plant's resources (overhead cranes, hoists) or mobilize lifting equipment per the rigging study. Responsibility and operational safety are covered in a dedicated plan.

Both. We install new, reconditioned or relocated pumps — the service's value is the method: leveling, specified torque, laser alignment and assisted commissioning apply to any equipment.

The documented disassembly produces an immediate report: you choose between recovery (machining, coating, balancing at our workshop) or replacement — with clear costs and lead times before reassembly. No surprises at startup.
