IMPELLERS & ROTORS FOR PUMPS

Hydro Pumps supplies impellers for centrifugal and vertical pumps of any brand — new, recovered or manufactured to drawing through reverse engineering. Every impeller ships bench-balanced to grade G2.5 of ISO 21940-11, ready for assembly.

Types & Variants

Impellers for every pump type and service

From geometry to alloy: the right impeller for your fluid and hydraulic condition.

01

Closed impeller

Maximum hydraulic efficiency for clean fluids — the standard in water, intake and process pumps.

02

Semi-open impeller

Tolerance to suspended solids with good efficiency — common in sanitation and lightly loaded fluids.

03

Open impeller

For abrasive fluids and larger solids — mining, pulp and severe services.

04

Vertical pump impellers

Bowl impellers for vertical turbine pumps — individual or the complete stage assembly.

05

Impeller recovery

Cavitated or worn impellers recovered by welding, thermal spray and machining — a fast, economical alternative to new supply.

06

Manufacture to drawing

Reverse engineering from the used part: measurement, modeling and manufacture in material equal or superior to the original.

New, recovered or made to drawing?

The three supply routes

A new replacement impeller is the direct route while the manufacturer still produces the part. When lead time is critical or the pump is discontinued, the other two routes come in: recovery of the existing impeller (welding, HVOF coating and machining, followed by balancing) or manufacture to drawing via reverse engineering.

In reverse engineering we measure the used part, rebuild the hydraulic geometry in our own drawing and manufacture in an alloy equal or superior to the original — restoring technical support to pumps their manufacturer abandoned.

Compatible with KSB, Imbil, Sulzer, Schneider, Dancor and more

We supply compatible impellers for the main brands operating in Brazil — KSB, Imbil, Sulzer, Flowserve, Schneider, Dancor, Worthington, WEG — for catalog pumps as well as special equipment in power plants and process industries.

Every impeller, new or recovered, undergoes dynamic balancing on an instrumented bench to grade G2.5 of ISO 21940-11, with a report. An impeller without documented balancing is guaranteed vibration — and a bearing paid for twice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pump impeller questions

What gets asked before quoting a replacement impeller.

Yes — we supply compatible impellers for KSB, Imbil, Sulzer, Flowserve, Schneider, Dancor and other brands, via direct replacement, recovery of the existing part or manufacture to drawing. Provide the pump model and impeller diameter for a quote.

Always. Every impeller supplied or recovered by Hydro Pumps undergoes dynamic bench balancing to grade G2.5 of ISO 21940-11 and ships with a residual unbalance report — ready to assemble.

That is the classic reverse-engineering case: send us the used part (even damaged) for measurement and modeling, and we manufacture the new impeller in equal or superior material. The hydraulic geometry is preserved to keep the pump on its curve.

In most cases, yes — it depends on the extent of the erosion. We recover by welding and thermal spray, with final machining and balancing. Important: a cavitated impeller is a symptom, not a cause. The installation's NPSH deserves a look so the erosion does not come back.
